Another beautiful building, another museum. It’s Paris as usual.
This is the Picasso Museum which, after years of renovations and delays opened last summer. It is tucked away in the Marais district, an area of Paris that I hadn’t been to before. Although it was a grey, rainy afternoon, I enjoyed exploring the winding streets and visiting this lovely museum.
Partly I went to this museum because it was on my Museum Pass and I had never been before, not because I’m avid Picasso fan. While my opinion of him didn’t really change, I did learn to appreciate his talent a little more.
The museum is fairly small and nicely laid out and thoroughly enjoyable. As usual, I was as interested in the building as the art! Both were well worth the visit.
